‘Share A Coke’ Campaign Puts Names On Coca-Cola Bottles And Cans
Coca-Cola is replacing its traditional branding with one of Australia’s 150 most popular first names for a new ad campaign in the country. Bottles for its ‘Share a Coke’ summer campaign with different names printed on them are on sale now. Each of the 150 names has also had an individual song written about it, which you can hear on the Facebook page.
For those with a more unusual name, there will be an opportunity for shoppers to create a custom can of Coke with their name on it at various Westfield Shopping Centres over the next few months. A Coke spokesperson said:
Names were chosen to represent a cross section of the Australian population. We used publicly available data to review the most popular names in Australia and ethnic representation in Australia to ensure the diversity of our multi-cultural nation was represented appropriately.
The names were put on Coca-Cola bottles so consumers can have fun finding their friends’ and family members’ names and then enjoy sharing a Coke together. The campaign also includes three TV commercials featuring the names of Matt, Luke and Kate.

I had long hair practically all my life. When I entered college, I had it permed, straightened, digi-permed, then I had it straightened again. Sometimes I have bangs, sometimes I don’t. I do a lot of things with my crowning glory- even the most extreme at times.
My hair went through another digital perm session while waiting for months. And to my dismay, after a year, it still isn’t as long as what I’m trying to achieve. I realized I’ve been patient enough, and patience, if you must know, is not my virtue. Hence, I had to ask my good friend Google to find me the best hair extensions I can avail of here in Manila. The answer: Tokyo POSH <3 So, guess who’s back with a long mane? If you’re having the same dilemma, you can visit them too at the R2 Level of Powerplant Mall, Makati City or at the 3rd floor, Main Mall of SM City North EDSA, or click here to check them on Facebook.
I shop practically everywhere. And believe me that when I say everywhere, I mean everywhere… and that includes the children’s wear department. I’m one of those girls who are always first in line whenever the teacher would say “find your height.” I’m always sitting in front when taking class pictures, and I always ask for the smallest size available when ordering my uniform for the Physical Education class. When I turned 15, I looked like 10. Now at 18, I still look like I belong in high school. Growing up, it’s been my big fat frustration. I’ve been the petite little girl all my life. I won’t lie and say I’ve always loved myself that way, because there were times that I wished I was a different person. But through the years, I realized that I’m not the only person on the face of this planet who has an insecurity or two. More importantly, I realized that depressing over who you’re not only deprives yourself from discovering who you really are and what you can be. I learned to embrace my flaws and love myself for what I am, and though I’m not exactly Miss Universe material, I am happy- because I feel forever 18 :)

Peacock Mantis Shrimp, couldn’t get enough of him by Coppertane on Flickr. :)

Getting the trust and believe from the people around you isn’t an easy job. In fact, some of us, don’t even completely believe in ourselves! Low levels of self-esteem and self-confidence adds on to make this matter worst. I used to have low confidence levels, but thanks to my dad, I’m now confident enough of myself. Although, sometimes I know I’m a bit over-confident of myself. Okay. That’s EGO you are talking about. Haha.
Yes, I admit that I have some trust issues in people. Still, I’m trying my best to put a little bit more of trust in others. Why should we not trust people completely? Hmm. In my point of view, these are the reasons :
Thus, the moral of the story is, to NOT TRUST PEOPLE EASILY AND COMPLETELY!
PS : I’m not bringing bad influence to people, this is just something I’ve gained from my experience so far. Hee. No offense to anyone. :)
Simplicity is SIMPLE. But LIFE isn’t just that SIMPLE. Yeah, I know, I’m just 18. I don’t know what’s the real meaning of life yet. I don’t really know how awful the world is outside there, yet! At least, I’ve tasted a bit of it already, during these 18 years of living. =) Sometimes, you just can’t figure out what’s best for yourself, until you’ve gone through those wrong roads. Life is to learn. To learn from mistakes and trying best not to repeat it. But, of course, if there’s someone to guide you, i.e. your parents, you will most probably never go through the wrong, learning pathway. Haaa. Neither it’s a bad thing, nor a good one. It has its own pros and cons. Hee. :)
When people JUDGE me!
I’m not gonna talk about what people had said about me, it’ll just add to my tension. So, I’ll just leave it to them to say whatever they like to! Nobody’s PERFECT! Deal with it.
Yes, of course I’m pissed off! This has not been only a few days, or a few weeks, it had been going on for months. And now, I’m really really really pissed off! Maybe I’ve been patient all this while, keeping silence after hearing those judgement made on me, but now, right now, I can’t really seem to hold back my anger any longer! Argh.
I HATE PEOPLE JUDGING ME! Why do you need to judge people so much? The main reason is because you dislike the way people are, because they are not the same as you? Nobody can have the same life, the same experience, the same idea, the same everyday life! So, nobody could understand me well enough to even judge me.
Yeah, maybe sometimes or most of the time I’m not doing the right thing, but do you have to show me what I should really do, your way, and force me into it? No! I appreciate advices very much, but not INSTRUCTIONS!
Intiendes?
This week had been tiring so far! Arghhhhhhhh. :|
Semester break is just 2 days away, I’m officially STRESSED OUT to the MAX! Surrounded by assignments, revisions to be done, and etc etc etc. I’m freaking exhausted! Feeling restless. Today was super-tiring, I don’t know why. :|
We still have to finish our Advertising Plan and Video Campaign in Internet Marketing. So I guess, I will be sleeping around 4 or 5 in the morning. It never spells fun. Seriously. Those requirements make me ugly! Arghh. God gave me strength to finish all of the things that are due tomorrow. :|
Honestly, this is a VERY VERY VERY sensitive question to me. Haaaaaaa. =’(
Okay. Let’s make it clear. I’m currently SINGLE. But, I’m not available. Hope you’ll get what I mean. Some call meflirty, some call mescandalous, some call mebitch. HAHA. Anyway. it doesn’t matter to me at all. Why? Simply because I know myself. I know who I really am. I don’t want to be affected with the rumors about me. Though sometimes I wanna give up. Thanks to my friends who always cheer me up when I’m down. But when they really want war, I’ll give them one. I’ll be there with my red stilettos! Lol. Back to our topic, yes. I’m single but not available. Brandon and I are not committed. Why? I don’t have any idea either. We just came to this point. No flowers, no chocolates, no teddy bears and all the courting stuffs! Hahaha! The feeling is so high school though. I swear! Hahaha! Thank God I found him. He made me a better person. No kidding. He makes my heart jump with joy every time he says that he honestly love me. I love him so much. & I guess, there’s no need for us to be committed anymore because the feelings are already mutual. :)

“Happiness boosts productivity of life.”
“Whatever career you may choose for yourself - doctor, lawyer, teacher - let me propose an avocation to be pursued along with it. Become a dedicated fighter for civil rights. Make it a central part of your life. It will make you a better doctor, a better lawyer, a better teacher. It will enrich your spirit as nothing else possibly can. It will give you that rare sense of nobility that can only spring from love and selflessly helping your fellow man. Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for human rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country and a finer world to live in.”-Martin Luther King
